DANIEL JAMES

When someone walks in with a demo and you think I don't know what it is but you have certainly got that something, you know you shouldn't let that person go and that is what I felt about Daniel James the first time I met him. Daniel took all the comments on board and twelve months later turned back up with an album that showed not only had taken on board everything I said but with an album that actually ticked every box from a commercial point of view. The memories came flooding back of the time I heard Craig David's demo and then watched him blossom into the superstar he became in front of our very eyes and I think Daniel James has all the potential to match the success Craig had.

Daniel really is a unique talent his vocals, production and song writing are all of the highest calibre. In a day and age of the auto tune sound and it being so fashionable Daniel has tapped right into it but added his own twist to it. Obvious comparisons are already being made re the likes of Taio Cruz and Akon but that simply shows how high regard Daniels music is being held in. Influences of Reggae, Lovers, R&B and Soul came from his parents. His love for music has been with him from a very young age, he has already had musical success being involved with Jonathon Shalit's Shalit Global via writing and producing for one of his acts, he was also part of the garage explosion with tracks played by The Dreemteam, EZ etc and a development deal soon followed with Island Records but Daniel's heart laid in R&B/Pop and eventually parted company due to direction differences.

Now Daniel is very content making the music he loves and boy does it show, his solo career is about to explode, he has already wrote a big track for another hot UK act Sheigh and 2011 is looking like it could be a very productive year for this amazing talent. His video, debut single and debut album are all due in the first half of 2011. The first street single is going to radio soon so expect to see Daniel James PA across the UK in the coming months. So keep an eye out for one of the hottest prospects of 2011.
