There are not many artists that have a CV that includes a masters, being a teacher, being a model, oh yeah and having been lead support already to the likes of soul legend Omar in the first three months of their career.

Seliah has literally just started to record her debut album but already is being tipped as worldwide superstar within the next couple of years. Musically imagine a female Ne-Yo meets Sade and you will have some idea of the direction this young lady is going in with her musical career. Her first track “Your Smile” leaked to radio recently has been causing a big stir on Choice FM, 1Xtra, Smooth and many other ILR and specialist soul stations. After already blowing up in club land via events such as The Southport Weekender, Caister, Luxury Soul and Lacy Lady to name a few of the many.

This stunning singer / song writer is currently recording tracks with some of the leading UK’s adult contemporary producers. When asked about her music career Seliah said “I live, sleep and breathe music, all I have ever wanted is to be a recording artist, I guess I drive my family and friends mad with my non stop singing and song writing because I test the songs out on them, I even practice singing in the car and get some strange looks at traffic lights she laughs” and although her love and passion for music is apparent Seliah has sensibly waited until she finished her masters to channel her energy fully into her music career.

Besides “Your Smile” Seliah has also recorded the stunning and poignant lyrical “No Lies”, a breathtakingly classy mid-beat smooth as silk track, the jaw dropping smash hit “Make It Last” and is currently recording the powerful ballad “World Stood Still” and a stunning cover version of an R&B classic that is being kept firmly under wraps. She has also laid down the vocals for the retro near Motown sounding “Desperation”. So you can see why there is already interest in her at record labels.

The live performances continue with Seliah performing as headline support to Soul Legends Soul II Soul at a major outside event this summer. So keep an eye and ear open for Seliah in the coming months because this amazing talent really is a superstar of the future watch out for big things from this amazing talent in 2010/2011.
