Every now and again along comes a group that isn¹t just special, talented and equal to anything that is out there, they actually change the face of the music world as we know it. The Beatles, Queen, U2 and Oasis are those kinds of bands and so is Daniel Spiller & The Broken Record Project.

Some may say that is a bold statement, some may say how can you say that when a group hasn¹t even released a track and my answer to that is simple listen to the album and watch them live and I know you will form the same opinion.

Daniel Spiller and his fellow band members are a fully functioning contemporary outfit comprising of Dani Mourinho on bass, Hezron Chetty on violin, Mauro Pes on piano and Daniel Spiller on lead vocals and guitar.

The band is based in London but as you can see from the member¹s names alone this group are as cosmopolitan as London itself. Live performances, touring and gigs across Europe have been instrumental in creating the unique sound the band possesses, bringing together the musical ideas and personalities of the band and you have all the ingredients that make this group stand out in crowded market place. Virtually the entire album is self written and produced, this word gets used all to often these days but these guys are true musical geniuses.

Having already received airplay and interviewed by radio stations such as BBC Radio London, Xtreme and Capital Radio as well as radio stations in Spain, Sardinia and South Africa. They already have the platform to build a huge fan base on. Live performances at the Nozstock Festival, The Borderline, Café de Paris, Troubadour, Red Room and Madame Jo Jo¹s in the UK as well as live appearances across Spain, South Africa and Italy simply add more strength this amazing bands credentials.

Daniel Spiller is also a writer and producer in his own right and was involved in the development of artists such as Pixie Lott and Sheigh.

So sit back and listen to an album that will take you on a musical journey that will be truly like no other and 2010 will be the year that this act become a household name.
